Manchester United have reportedly told Wayne Rooney they will not sell him to Chelsea this summer – even if he hands in a formal transfer request.
United have already snubbed one offer from Chelsea for Rooney, thought to be worth around £20million.
And despite Jose Mourinho insisting that signing the England striker is his top priority, United are refusing to do business at any price.
According to reports, United manager David Moyes has made it clear to both Rooney and his agent that the player will be staying for at least another 12 months, even if he deliberately tries to push for the switch by handing in a transfer request.
You are Coooool too! You played like Freddie...
